The Moyer Method

The Moyer Method can increase your metabolism through meal planning.
Nutritionally, there are a few rules:

  1. Know how many calories you need per day to maintain your weight, then adjust accordingly. If you want to lose weight, eat less!
  2. Your calories should be balanced: 20% fat, 55% carbs, and 25% protein. Fortunately for you, The Moyer Method takes the thinking out of it for you and gives you a ton of recipes that all come close to this ideal breakdown.
  3. Avoid starchy carbs (breads, rices, pastas, fruits, grains) at night.

Exercise


Everyone wants to make exercise so complex nowadays.

For me, it's simple: lift weights for your muscles and do cardio for your heart. Mix it up. Try different things. Find out what you like to do, and go do it! But most importantly, STAY ACTIVE.

Exercising for 45 minutes 3-4 times a week, with a mix of both resistance training and cardio, is all it takes.
